We finally got to see the catwalks for the 2012 spring/summer collections, a season which is filled with speculations as the big fashion houses went through some big changes and the new designers were added to mix. This is surely a recipe for some amazing and unique styles which will make waiting for the warm weather that much more exciting.
From a quick view at what is in this season and what outfits got the most attention on the catwalk, it is quite easy to see that colorful and feminine outfits are the new thing. If last year, we saw women in suits and a winter collection mostly dominated by black and brown, now it would seem that everything is going to change. This is a very good idea and it is always nice to see some color, especially during the summer.
One piece dresses would seem to be making a comeback and there is clearly a lot of inspiration from the 80s which will be seen this year; not to be considered a bad thing if we look back and see the fashion boom of that area and the gorgeous feminine dresses. Most of them seem to be just over the knee high and with a great accent on the silhouette without it being tight; in other words, the ladies outfits for this season will be colorful and have the right shape so that they can show off the feminine body but at the same time remain subtle and comfortable.
